Duravit Onto

What is immediately apparent when you look at the Duravit Onto, is the joining of form and materials.

Smooth strong lines and the blending of ceramic and natural materials such as wood make for an aesthetically appealing unfussy collaboration.

Notice in the picture opposite how the wooden console comes to the edge of the washbasin. The water resistant materials make caring for these product easy and stress free. Also, “Onto” ensures a quick and easy assembly thereby reducing installation costs

As with all of Duravit’s 2011 collection, the versatility of the Onto series is a key component.

The Onto series has been designed by Matt Thun.

Biography of Matt Thun

Born in Italy, Matteo studied at the Salzburg Academy and took his degree in architecture in Florence.

Thun works according to the principle “echo – non ego”. Which is interpreted as getting the spirit right rather than grandiose design.

Matteo Thun was inducted into the Interior Hall of Fame in New York in December 2004 and is a member of RIBA, the Royal Association of British Architects.
