Duravit Paiova 2011
The Paiova series is a familiar one within the Duravit stable. Designed by EOOS, their unique design ensures enough space to sit two comfortably.
A brilliant modern take on the ‘corner bath’, The Duravit Paiova, principle concern is to offer comfort to the bather. This chic bathtub with an integrated apron (bathtub rim and front side are one entire piece.
The Paiova monolith is also new. The striking inside bath sits in a rectangular form to create additional storage space with minimum water consumption.
EOOS design
The business was named after a horse. Eous or Eoos was the name of the Sun God Helios’s horse – why not.
Poetical Analysis is the term used to describe the approach that EOOS typically adopts. Commencing a project involves analysis of the theme from current perspectives and research into its roots in the past.
This enables EOOS to search out the intuitive images, myths and rituals engraved deeply in the human consciousness that originally served, and indeed still serve to visualise and stabilise social categories.
