Starck 2

A successful designer is always looking for ideas and inspiration to bring out the best in his designs, and to compliment and evolve what has gone before. We believe Philippe Starck has risen to the challenge with the Starck 2 edition. For this range Philippe Starck took his inspiration from water the symbol of life, health and fertility, and reflects in his designs elements from its source through to stream, river and sea. Best of all, Starck 2’s autonomous design also combines and compliments perfectly with all pieces from the earlier Duravit Starck 1 range.

Starck 2 – The Bathroom at Source

In this range Starck has paid particular attention to his tap design, both in water flow and creative detail. Everything has a purpose from space saving to function. The whole Starck 2 bathroom suite reflects his inspiration, such as the recommended dual-lever tap range – reminiscent of a river’s fork or a diviner’s rod. The washbasin and bath tub mixer reflect the flexibility and practicality of the range and so can be either installed on the tub’s rim or as a free standing high-riser. The mixer control provides for easy and efficient switching from hand shower to tub spout.

The Duravit Starck 2 range includes washbasins, toilets, bidets and urinals.

Starck 2 Washbasins

Water flows evenly around the contours of the washbasin with movement reminiscent of nature itself. The Starck 2 washbasins are available in three sizes, 550 width x 470 mm projection, 600 x 500 mm and 650 x 510 mm with 1 tap hole resting on siphon covers or matching full/semi-pedestals. All models feature modest outer dimensions whilst offering generous counter space. The tap and waste are sold separately.

Duravit Starck 2 550mm Basin with pedestal

The white coloured Starck 2 Basin with pedestal has a 1 tap hole basin and comes with fixing bolts. It measures 550x470mm with a height of 175mm.

Hansgrohe Axor Starck 2 Mono Basin Tap

When it comes to choosing bathroom taps, the Axor Starck collection of bathroom fittings, with its slender form, and clear simple function is a worthy partner for the Starck 2 edition. The modern sleek Axor Starck taps feature a swivel nozzle with a convenient single lever operation, a Ceramic cartridge and a pop up waste to drain the water.

Starck 2 Toilets

The Starck 2 WCs continue the clear-cut design lines. There is a choice of two wall-mounted toilets with washdown or washout flush to choose from. Various floor standing combinations provide for an ingenious one-piece-WC with style.

Starck 2 Bidets

As with the Starck 1 edition, bidets are also available as floor standing or wall-hung models. Overall dimensions for the wall mounted bidet is width 355mm, projection 565mm and height 310mm and the floor standing bidet width is 355mm, projection 570mm and height 395mm. Axor Starck collection taps are available to match your washbasin taps. The bidet mixer taps come with an adjustable spout.
