Recycling your water
As more and more people consider the environment homeowners are now beginning to reflect on the waste that is generated at home.
Recycling of food packing is part of our daily lives, but have you ever considered recycling your greywater?
Basically greywater is the used water from your sinks, baths, washing machine and dishwashers. This water is contaminated with soaps, shampoo and disinfectants and is then disposed of through the drains. Well now there maybe an alternative.
Hansgrohe Pontos AquaCycle
The Hansgrohe Pontos AquaCycle helps with ecological sustainability. It reduces water usage – and with it water costs – by up to 50 percent, providing us with an intelligent way of saving water without compromising any of our modern comforts.
The idea of the AquaCycle
Water from shower and bath tub is recycled in the Pontos AquaCycle in a completely biological-mechanical process and used a second time for applications that do not require drinking water quality such as toilet flushing, cleaning purposes and irrigation.
The AquaCycle of Pontos guarantees 100% safe and hygenic water treatment to a constantly high quality. It works with the new environmentally friendly SmartClean technology: a four-phase-water treatement with UV-light sterilisation, which renders germs and bacteria harmless. The recycled water conforms with the European Directive 76/160EWG for recreational water.
Here is how it works
The Pontos AquaCycle now available at Ocean Bathrooms, Bridport Dorset.
