And - along with all the other aspects of our homes - our perceptions of the bathroom have changed. The bathroom is no longer seen as a separate, isolated space but as an integral part of an organic and open whole. As a place that needs to meet a range of different needs. As a place that adapts to suit the people who use it, rather than making people adapt to suit it.
