With the popularity of staycations firmly cemented and ahead of the holiday season, Ocean Bathrooms was commissioned to create a modern ensuite and family bathroom for a luxury holiday barn conversion.

Situated in the East Midlands, The Barn is the result of a loving conversion of the standalone Victorian red-brick barn at the family home, Rectory Farm. In keeping with the mission statement of client Espais Roca, all the spaces are freshly renovated but always preserve their original emblematic architecture. And the bathrooms are no exception.
 
With fixtures and fittings from the likes of Majestic, Hansgrohe, AXOR, Duravit, Grespania and Gerberit, Ocean affords the spaces a sense of reassurance, through its use of both quality craftsmanship and understated elegance.

Natural materials of wood and stone lend a warmth to the space, while the shelving nook allows owner and interior designer, Susan, to breathe in further touches of luxury with well-placed objets d’art.

Sympathetic to the barn conversion’s architecture, Ocean’s prestigious designers visualise the second space perfectly, placing a Hansgrohe bathtub under the sloped ceiling to create a womb-like sanctuary of calm in a space that could so easily be overlooked.
